International Women’s Day is celebrated around the world on March 8 every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. Started as a political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries primarily Russia and Europe. In some celebrations, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love by giving presents to the women around them in a way somewhat similar to Mother’s Day and St Valentine’s Day mixed together.
The International Women's Day is also celebrated as the first spring holiday, as in many countries tho first day of March is considered to be the first day of the spring season. There exists a special tradition on this day, according to which men should send flowers and send gifts to the women in their lives – mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, colleagues, etc. Depending on the relations with the women .

2011 is going to be a year of great gadgets with technology is advancing so rapidly, that with every passing day, we get to listen about new gadgets and their upgraded versions being launched in the market. Here are top five gadgets which you should be exicted about this year :-)
iPad2
It's not offical yet, but Apple is going to launch Ipad 2 sometime around early part of year 2011 with some great features added to it. Most iPad blogs agree that the basic core functionality of the iPad will remain intact. The general opinion seems to be that most changes will involve integrating some of the newer features from iPhone4 to the iPad 2. Facetime would one great feature to look out for other than a gyroscope to match the iPhone 4, a faster (or possibly dual-core) processor and probably a new, sleeker design.
Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo’s introduced next generation DS and it has a 3D screen. The graphics of 3DS are as good as today’s consoles. It has three cameras i-e one on front side and two on back side; back side cameras are for 3D photos. It will goes on sale in March and costs about $300.
BlackBerry Playbook
BlackBerry Playbook with processor dual-core Cortex A9, as well as 7-inch screen and with a 5 MP camera is gonna keep the RIM user busy for a while.

I do most of my shopping online and spend a lot of time researching every
purchase. The problem is it's hard to get reviews I can trust and that
aren't bias by being from a company rep. ShopSocially helps me really solve

I loved the design! Beautiful colors, great layout. I took the site out for a spin today. My feedback is mainly in terms of ease of use/technology and not business.
Creating shout out was easy. Creating a shared purchase I found more difficult. The purchase I made was a good while back so I didn't remember the model number, price etc. I had to go to my Amazon history and manually copy it. Manual entry is a bit cumbersome. Plus, you don't always remember to share. I think capturing this data at the Point of Sale would reduce friction. Many sites (including Amazon) have APIs that can be used to pull all this data. There were a few other small things:
1. It is unclear what the timezone is. Perhaps just show the age -- e.g. 1 hour ago.
2. The Last active seems to be a misnomer -- I tend to think it is the last time you are active on a site. It appears to be the last login time.
3. Links should be automatically made clickable.
4. When sharing a purchase, letting the user summarize the experience (favorable/critical) would help others. e.g. I might zoom into unfavorable experience first to find all the problems.

I'm not a Yelper or traditional review writer, but the more I use ShopSocial.ly the more I like it! I care more about my friends' opinions of products than I do about strangers' so the Shared Purchases are of much greater value to me than just a normal review. It's also fun to see what everyone's buying and help them out when you can.

I like shopsocial.ly but I would like to see it as a one stop shop for
me to build up my product reviews when I am evaluating products to
buy. I would also like to manage my wish lists there. Even the
ability to import my amazon lists would be very cool.
This would make things much more usable for me.
